When I took those pictures last October, Stella had just started her senior year. Now she's just starting college, so we got together a couple weeks ago to snap a few fun shots before she left.
We chatted about clothes and hair and then Stella mentioned that she found a dress that reminded her of my love for all things vintage and offered to bring it along.
Not only did she bring the dress, she brought hats and pearls and gloves and shoes. Jackpot!
The only thing we were missing was a proper vintage backdrop and since I'm assuming the Mad Men set is somewhere in California, my dock had to do.
I think she looks like she stepped right out of the past.
Processing was extremely fun and I still don't know what I like best, so I'm glad no one's making me pick.
Hey, maybe I'll just make you pick. Which one stands out as your favorite? Fresh and bright? Grainy and muted?
Share with the class and then go on and have yourself a fabulous Monday, retro style.
LOVE LOVE LOVE
ReplyDeleteWhere are you when I need you?

ReplyDeleteBella Stella . . .
ReplyDeletePerfect Vintage, (I should know . . .)
The more serious facial, mouth pics are more "with the time" in my book.
"BE" the change and go vintage upon arrival on campus!
Second row, left side...shows her absolutely gorgeous eyes, such a perfect blue. She is stunning in these poses and you have captured her again. She is fortunate to have such a good photographer to take her pictures.

What a beautiful young lady and beautiful photos! I think you captured this vintage look perfectly and the very essence of this lovely young girl, heading off to college, with her whole life ahead of her. A picture really does speak more than a thousand words. Beautiful work. :)
