Have you totally given up on me?
If you haven't, you probably should.
I have truly lost my blogging mojo, but once I'm through my busy senior photography season, I'm going to try my best to get my sorry self back on the blogging bandwagon.
But don't hold your breath.
These beauties are just a few of the darling girls I've had the privilege to photograph this year.
I've had an absolute blast with my girls this year. Montana girls are the best. They'll go anywhere and they're game for pretty much anything.
Sit in the river at sunrise? Yes Ma'am!
(This one calls me Ma'am.)
(Not quite sure what I think about that.)
(This is her "I know the morning light is beautiful, but this water is cold and I can't feel my legs" look.)
If she seems a bit familiar, it's because you've seen her here.
And here.
And....here.
And now here!
It's been impossible to pick favorite sessions this year. They've all been fun and very, very different.
Thanks for hanging in there with me through my slump/break/slacker fest.
Truly, you haven't missed much as the deer ate pretty much my entire garden this year, and for the last two months, all the local scenery has been hidden by thick wildfire smoke. The skies are just now starting to clear, so hopefully they stay that way and we'll be able to enjoy a beautiful fall.
Remember Ceili? We've already done two extremely fun sessions and have plans for more in the beautiful fall color.
Until we meet again........
Peace.
p.s. Bonus points to anyone who can name the artist who sang my post title song without looking it up on the internet!
Gorgeous photos and people!! :) Hope you have a great week! xx Holly
ReplyDeleteDavid Soul! I'll be singing that song all day long now.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear from you again.
We have missed you. Welcome back. Beautiful pictures. You have such fresh ideas. We look froward to hearing more from you when life slow down a bit :).
ReplyDeleteReally missed your posts (especially as one who found you quite recently and eagerly read back through your entire blog, I'm not a stalker, honest!). I've just renovated my kitchen and I absolutely fell in love with yours when I saw the photos. Hope you return to your former blogging self very soon.
ReplyDeleteHen x
Dang! Montana sure grows some beautiful girls! Lol!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun it must be to work with them, their photos are AMAZING!! Love the carrots behind the back, that is genius!
Missed you, but I totally get what you are saying, I find myself just too busy lately to blog 'properly' so I just don't do it much at all. But I feel the change coming with the fall air. I'll be back to it soon. You will too. ;o)
Mary
I see somebody posted David Soul - and I wouldn't have remembered that, but I started singing the song as soon as I saw your title! YES! Miss you for sure! Please come back. ~Sal
ReplyDeleteYea! I was happy to see a post from you!! :) Whatever you do...don't stop blogging!! Please. ;)
ReplyDeletethe dude from Starskey and Hutch!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos of these lovely girls. Have fun with it and we will be waiting. xx
ReplyDeleteI love the carrots, adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love the carrot picture too! I follow another blog called "This Old Farmhouse." The other day, they posted something with the title, "We Moved!" I was reading it on a reader (and couldn't see any pictures), and so I was so sad! So that's just to say, I'm glad that somewhere out there there is a woman living on a beautiful farm in Montana, even if the deer eat all the flowers.
ReplyDeleteI want you to take MY senior pictures. With that barn in the back, please.
ReplyDeleteSenior gals are so pretty and your photography is wonderful. I have missed you and hearing news about your boys and everything green and flowery at Meadwbrook.
ReplyDeleteI will still be here when you return because you were "my very first favorite blogger!"
No zinnias this year?
I have MISSED you!! Sorry about the deer. Our deer fence has been a flower saver!
ReplyDeleteThose SR. gals are adorable...as are your pictures. I have been away/disinterested in blogging lately...too much else going on...
give up?? why never! your posts are fun and way too beautiful to give up on ;)
ReplyDeleteCool pix. David Soul.
ReplyDeleteHi Teresa! I love how the carrot photo turned out!! And the cute girl is so grown up since her last pics. You made her go IN the pond? Really??????
ReplyDeleteYour post was worth the wait. Don't worry about us giving up on you.. never. I love your photo!
ReplyDelete((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Love it all...
ReplyDeletechills in that water. Cool shot. No pun intended. ;) Well, sorta.
...Oh my, there's somethin' in the water up there in Montana! They all are simply dolls! Love the carrots idea, the peace sign and I just love the girl leaning back on the fence - cute! :o)
ReplyDelete...Yeah, I've been on a blogging hiatus too. Haven't posted since the end of June and I really don't even comment much but I just had to come out of the woods and say, "hi!" and that we understand you taking a break, there's no need to apologize tho'. Oh, and that yes - you are missed. ;o)
...Enjoy your Autumn!
...Blessings
I so enjoy your blog . . please don't give up. Your pictures are an inspiration. Enjoy the very last of fall and cozy up inside and do some blogging this winter.
ReplyDeleteI haven't given up on you at all!! You are still on my sidebar & I'm always excited to see a new post go up!! :) Gorgeous photos lady!! Beautiful girls too!!
ReplyDeleteWish we lived closer to you, I would totally bribe you into doing our family pics!!
Hello my lovely T! Gorgeous pictures. How do you come up with these amazing ideas? I've got a photographer friend here in the Village now and he's taking me out in a couple of weeks for a training session. It makes me wish you lived closer. Or at least visited again!
ReplyDeleteThose girls are so lucky to have your talent capturing their beauty!
Nope, can't give up on you! You're too amazing! Gorgeous photos, and those girls are lucky to have you. You are tempting me to pack up my little ones, travel across the country and have you photograph them again and again. No problem, right?
ReplyDeleteNope! I haven't given up on you! I've been a total slacker lately when it comes to blogging too, but it's not like I have a ton of followers checking in everyday so I don't care. It's more for me anyways! I love your photos, as always. What beautiful girls you have in Montana! Take Care Teresa!
ReplyDeleteDon't give up on the blog!!! I love your blog and it's seriously the only one on my blogroll that covers my love of gardening AND my love of photography. You rock, so if you give up, then I'm going to have to move to Montana to view your stuff. And let's be honest... me and snow don't do so well together...
ReplyDeleteI thought it was Rick Springfield but I stand corrected. Beautiful senior pictures! I had to have someone else take my daughters picks last week (since we're in Michigan and all) but I would've loved to have you do it! :)
ReplyDeleteStarsky? Or was it Hutch? Thanks for putting those two back in my head after all these years. :-)
ReplyDeleteYour Montana girls are gorgeous as are the amazing portraits you've created. When I think back on my goofy senior pictures, wearing the same cheesey velvet drape (in maroon - my school color!) as every other girl in my class, I think how lucky these young women are to have you help them create a beautiful, personal moment from this time in their lives. You are an artist. :-) xo
Great photos! I particularly like the one of the girl on the chair in the water. These are wonderful photographs. I love seeing another photographer's inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of the girl with carrots behind her back and the horse in front! So cute!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful pictures!! Glad to know you are still kicking!! Nancy
ReplyDeleteI think we have been over this before my dear...but let us review. Repeat after me, "I do solemnly swear to never, ever apologize for living my life instead of blogging." Got it....good. Now let's talk food (oh and your pictures are delightful as always and I love the fact that after raising all those boys you have found so many "daughters" to spend time with....love it). You gave us the amazing peanut butter pie...now I am wondering what has been blowing your skirt up lately...what have you been loving that you can't get enough of. Lets talk food. I'm all ears.
ReplyDeletep.s. so happy to see your sweet pictures here again!
I just found your blog and I love it. I have spent some time looking at your beautiful photography. You have a gift! I am adding you to my blog reading list. Be blessed!
ReplyDeleteWOW!Amazing photos!Love it!
ReplyDeleteWish you have a good day!
You're back!! I've waited patiently for you....thanks for not quitting altogether. Over here in Malaysia, I caught your bug and haven't been updating for quite some time. Your photos are always so, so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Such lovely girls and you've taken great photos.
ReplyDeleteWell, hello! I quit blogging myself, for exactly three weeks ... yep, that was all I could take of not checking in on my friends and sharing a few little thingies. Your pics, as always, are stunning ... seriously, she sat in the river for your photo shoot? Wow, what a model! I still don't understand how Montana has the most beautiful girls on earth, what is going on out there that causes this?!?! Well, just glad to hear from you and to know you're busy as a bee, sorry about the garden but hope your flowers did okay, do they eat those too?! Hugs ~ Mary
ReplyDeleteHaha - David Soul. Used to love that song back in the day. Haven't given up on ya - still have you on my blog sidebar. I don't think I ever looked that beautiful in high school! Love your photography
ReplyDeleteI'm a slaker too! But that's OK, the blogworld is forgiving.
ReplyDeleteYour photo's amaze me and inspire me. I was looking back at those sweet little baby birds, amazing! I was able to go to Montana 4 times this summer and loved it. I have not been there in October, I need to.
Enjoyed your beautiful girls today!
It's still high 80's here in Florida!!
Hooray! You're back!! Where would we be without your beautiful photos and witty words?!! Definitely feel the blogging blues, don't feel I have anything worthy to say at the moment!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Shani
Not to take away from your totally awesome photography skills, but ... the first eight years of our marriage were spent living in Northern Wyoming, and I actually worked across the border in Montana for a time. But I just don't think you can find any bluer, clearer skies than in Wyoming and Montana!
ReplyDeleteI have to say that now that we are back in the midwest, I sure do enjoy our long fall season and early springs. The first year we were in Wyo., we had snow on the ground by the end of September and I barely saw the ground until April!! It was a long, long first year of marriage. ha ha
Beautiful photos!What a great blog!Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love the first picture of the girl hiding the carrots from the horse. very cute.
ReplyDeleteAMAZING pics Teresa, you are so very talented! I have lost my blogging mojo too and really need to jump back in. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Nan
