Old glass bead garland.....
Pretty indents....
Snowy scenes...
Flocking, glitter, and I'm not quite sure how to describe the gourd-like funny shaped little guy bottom right. But I like him.
Toppers....none of which reside on my tree. My fake tree has a very flat top. Not quite sure what to do about it. It's naked for now.
I break one almost every year. This year, this gorgeous one fell off my china cupboard as I was moving everything around to take more photo's. I watched it fall in slow motion, but my hands were full. My first photography casualty.
Rest in peace (or should I say pieces) my Shiny Brite friend.
T - All the photos are excellent but I was blown away by the first one... The night, the outside looking in, the colors & lights, and all the twinkles beyond the tree look like Christmas lightning bugs... Amazing & Very Cool! - mbf.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures - everything looks magical! And I love all of your ornaments!
ReplyDeletegorgeous. i love all those ornaments. they are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love your gourd. And your toppers. (That's a lot of toppers, yo!)
ReplyDeleteRuby has now broken 2 ornaments this season. Luckily, neither was an indent.
I love your ornaments. I have fallen in love with the Shiny Brite beauties! I don't own any yet. I do remember putting some on my Granny's tree!

If these pics don't put you in the Christmas mood, nothing will. How inviting and cozy that first pic is. And your ornaments bring back such wonderful childhood memories. These photos stirred a lot of warm and wonderful emotions. Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteWOW....THAT FIRST PHOTO..LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE MY FIREPLACE IN OUR PREVIOUS HOME THAT WE BUILT! BEAUTIFUL PHOTO..LOOKS UNREAL! LOVE THE PRETTY ORNAMENTS TOO...YOU HAVE A VERY MERRY ONE! Come say hi ;D
ReplyDeleteI love your photos. Your ornaments are so so pretty. We have ornament casualties on a yearly basis. I guess it's to be expected with little boys :)
ReplyDeleteSo, so lovely. Sad about the one that got broken but your collection is amazing. Where do you find them?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous ornaments! Love them all. So sad to lose one....
ReplyDeleteAll of my favorite things! Your photos are fantastic! I must learn how to take photos like this! Sorry about the broken one, I hate when that happens and you can't grab it! I need to think about a new camera....:)
ReplyDeleteYour tree is so beautiful. I almost always lose at least one ornament, but this year my kids lost two. They thought I would be mad, but it's just part of the holiday tradition around here LOL
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!

All that *sparkly* bokeh is awesome!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful. again. i'm seriously drooling. again. where's that towel i went to get, just before visiting your blog?
ReplyDeletei've begun a collection of the tree toppers. would like to make a display peice to hold them, with dowels staggered a few inches apart, so the toppers could stand up on the dowels and not break. thanks for sharing the beautiful photo's. your home is just lovely!
Teresa, these are my favorite kind of ornaments. Are these all antique or did you find a place to get the replicas? I want some so badly and haven't found any--so if you have any tips I would so appreciate them :) That tree is gorgeous--love the glass bead garland.
ReplyDeleteI know it's only April...but I am loving your Christmas posts. From the looks of it, your taste in decoration matches what goes on at our house too. I love all of the vintage finds...and the glitter! I'm already ready to start decorating for this year...
