Cinderella pumpkins?
Cutest things ever.
Unless you want to talk to me about these guys.
The wartier the better.
Warts and stripes?
Come to mama.
The love doesn't stop with pumpkins.
I'm officially a gourd-a-holic.
I've collected one of every single kind I can find and plan to save the seeds.
Plan is the key word here. I better get on it because a few of these fellas are already starting to mold.
I faithfully haul them inside every night it's going to freeze, as frozen gourds are not happy gourds.
I also love to throw a turban squash or four into the mix.
My neighbor gave me these darling minis.
We've had a couple wild windstorms so our fall color is almost all gone, but until this week, this is pretty much what greeted us every morning.
And this was our typical afternoon.
Absolutely dreamy.
Have a Happy Pumpkin Day!
Happy Pumpkin Day to you too! Great variety of gourds and pumpkins...I only have the traditional ones in the mini size and one lone big one!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are always so beautiful! Only you can make a warty gourd look like a piece of art. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeletePretty pictures, but ewwww, I cannot bring myself to even TOUCH the warty ones, let alone BUY one. We still have TONS of green leaves and lots of leaves still on trees too. The "schedule" seems to be a little off this year. I originally heard that mid-Oct. would see the leaves peak... but I'm sure they were not at their peak then! Today may be the day though -- lots of wind whipping around out there w/ the rain this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pumpkin Day to you too!! Such sweet little things they are!! So pretty!! xo Holly
ReplyDeleteI agree, the wartier and weirder the better when it comes to pumpkins and gourds. Aren't these just beautiful!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! I love Fall and am so happy October has been a beautiful month here in Idaho...So not looking forward to the brown of Winter. I'm really grateful cancer came to me and you during the warm months instead of Winter, would have been really depressing.

ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful variety of gourds. I used to use them to decorate but got so sad when they went bad that I stopped. Your view is lovely...perfect fall.
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish we had true fall foliage here in Southern California but we do not...I have to settle for enjoying others, like yours. Just beautiful. I love the pumpkin-gourd fest against the chippy blue table. Gorgeous photos, as always.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm coming over!
ReplyDeleteDid you see that thing on Pinterest where you wash them in bleach water? I did it...and it WORKED!
You know what doesn't work, though? Bloglovin.
I like my pumpkins warty too. I wonder what that says about us. :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics! Your blog is like a work of art. Do you plant all those different varieties every year and save the seeds? If so, how do you keep them from cross pollinating?
ReplyDeleteWOW! Beautiful!! Warty pumpkins and all!!
