"Blue skies,
Smiling at me,
Nothing but blue skies,
Do I see."
We are going to have a glorious weekend.
Finally!
Sunshine and warm temps. 76 today and 82 (gasp) tomorrow.
One thing I can promise - you will never, ever hear me complain about the heat.
Ever.
I'm getting ready to put on my dirty overalls and go play in the dirt.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Look how still that water is, the reflection...breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteHave fun playing in the dirt...
What a beautiful photo to see first thing this morning. We've had an unusually wet and cool spring this year, but I've been happy with it. Our normal summer temperatures are above 100 degrees, so yeah, I'll probably complain about the heat in a month or so. Take care.
ReplyDeleteSame here! Yes, finally..... I'm sooo looking forward to some serious digging in the garden! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDelete82 would be nice try 100 here!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be wonderful here also this weekend. Gardening will be attempted before the low 60's come back Monday. Not complaining though. :) It could be worse.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous view and dirt-crusted overalls - what a great start to the day Teresa! Enjoy!
ReplyDeletexo Cathy
I'm with you sista'!!
ReplyDeleteI am so with you! I will never complain either. We are supposed to have a gorgeous weekend too. Finally! It snowed on Monday morning here. What the heck is it doing snowing on Memorial Day??
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your sun!!
Pam
Willie Nelson's blue skies sound perfect for a weekend of playing in the dirt. Enjoy and don't forget the sunscreen!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! We had weeks of cold and rain, then a week of hot humid weather, and now it is perfection!
ReplyDeleteYEA!!! Enjoy the wonderful weekend and can't wait to see pics of all your rewarding, patiently waiting work you have in store!
ReplyDeleteI wish I lived where you are!! Its going to be 98 here today and the heat index is like 105!!! The humidity here is horrible!! So, its June 4th & I'm already complaining! Is this picture the view in your backyard? If so, it is just breathtaking!! Absolutely gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteBlue skies here too!
ReplyDeleteHave a grand time playing in the dirt - you deserve it after that long winter!
Yay - warm temps in Montana! Have fun playing in the dirt!
ReplyDeleteI woke up this morning (just outside Seattle) and it is GORGEOUS. It feels like it has been forever and I honestly can't tell you how happy I feel to look outside, feel that gentle relatively warm breeze blowing, sunshine streaming down, chickens talking away, and birds singing. Yes, sounds like I am being dramatic - but I assure you, after the winter and non-spring we have had, I'm not! Giddy - giddy I tell you!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend my friend,
xx
Enjoy that warmth and sunshine! I'm excited to have both as well down here in OR. My poor tomato plants haven't been happy about the soggy soil they live in.
ReplyDeleteWe are having the same weekend! Heaven I tell ya. Heaven. And I've already got my 15 year old overalls on and ready to play! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLove this photo! Funny, it is still raining here in beautiful northern California. Next week though, maybe, just maybe I will be able to get my plants out of my dining room and into the garden. Your post gives me hope!
ReplyDeleteGotta love blue skies, and your photos of course! We had gorgeous blue skies yesterday but rain and thunderstorms this morning. Oh well, makes for green grass.
ReplyDeletelovely pictures. We're doing the same today, garden and hay harvesting! Loving this weather....
ReplyDeleteYipee! We're having a FABULOUS weekend too! First time to break 70 degrees since last September... it's been way too long.
ReplyDeleteHope you're enjoying your blue skies...
~Chris
PS. I never complain about the heat either, we rarely get too hot here and I know it will be gone quickly. :)
I bet you look
ReplyDeletecute in your overalls!
Have FUN playing!
My only complaint here
is that we seemed to
have skipped spring and
jumped right into summer....
xx Suzanne
Oh my - what a shot! Love this. Shared it on Twitter. Just so you know, I brag about you all over town. Favorite. Favorite. Favorite. Love. Love. Love.
ReplyDeleteOkay - I'm done being a creeper now. =)
Hugs! ~Sally
Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteFunny, we moms had a conversation at the pool while the kids were at swim team practice. It went something like this:
"I can't breathe."
"It's only 96 in the shade with 98% humidity. Why can't you breathe?"
"I think I just realized I LOVE winter."
"I'll never complain about cold weather again."
"Was that a breeze? Move outta my way so I can catch it!!!"
Have fun in your warm weather. I'm trying not to envy you.
What a view! Breathtaking! God is so evident in your surroundings!
ReplyDeleteBlue skies after all the rain we've had is a welcome respite in spite of the heat. Carol
ReplyDeleteI've just passed the Versatile Blogger Award on to you. Do with it as you wish!:) (I was told to list 7 things about myself and then pass it on to 7 blogs I've recently discovered.)
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures with the still pond reflecting the beautiful sky and mountains! You've got a little piece of heaven right outside your door!
ReplyDeleteWell 76 - 82 is perfect and not what I consider heat. We were 97 and humid last week. Yes, I complained. I guess it's all relative. Enjoy your beautiful blue skies and sunny days.
ReplyDeleteDeborah
Love that photo! Your part of the world is much prettier than mine and your weather is much nicer right now. Enjoy it all!
ReplyDeleteNothing makes me happier than sunny skies and yard work! Never thought I would say that!!
ReplyDeleteI agree! Blue skies will never have me complaining either! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! Just discovered it via Centsational Girl last week. Can you please post about the work you did in your gardens this weekend? Gardening has become my new hobby this year, and I am totally enamored by your gorgeous garden! I would also love a post on the specifics of taking cuttings and overwintering annuals. Anyway, mostly wanted to say that your blog is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI am so, so, so jealous of those mountains in the background. Some day...some day I will see them.
ReplyDeleteWe went from pretty cool to very hot last wek, but that's okay. It's good for the summer veggies :) Lovely picture!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful "reflection".
